BIOGRAPHY
Bryan Wells has earned two Gold
Records for his songs made famous by Stevie Wonder -
"A Place in the Sun" & "Yester-Me, Yester-You,
Yesterday".
The latter song was featured in the Bruce Willis hit film "The Kid".
Another Wells song, "Someday at Christmas", was recorded by Diana
Ross.
Wells has garnered four Clio
Awards for his advertising music compositions.
Some of the high profile clients he has written for include Mercedes-Benz,
Sear's, Welch's,
ExxonMobile, Scope Mouthwash, Gillette, Macy's, American Express and Saks Fifth
Avenue.
As a music director, he has
collaborated with Bette Midler.
He appeared with her at the now mythic Continental Baths.
Wells is an active participant in
the New York jazz scene, having played with his trio
at the legendary Birdland. He has worked with the likes of Idris Muhamed,
Jamil Nasser,
Leroy Williams and Akira Tana. Wells is currently holding court at the
famous
Palm Restaurant in Manhattan's theater district.
